Winter Storm: Stay Warm Inside
Keeping your home warm in winter isn't just about comfort, it's about your health. Most experts recommend keeping indoor temperatures at 18°C or warmer, especially for: adults 65+, babies and young children, anyone with health conditions (heart, lung, mobility, or circulation issues.
If you're generally healthy, you may be okay with your home a little cooler as long as you dress warmly during the day by wearing layers, warm socks, and a sweater or hoodie. Stay lightly active, moving around helps your body stay warm. Layer up at night, use enough blankets, warm pjs, and heating aids (like a hot water bottle) so you're comfortable.
