Must-Haves

  • Copies of ID and emergency contact list (in a waterproof pouch)

  • First aid kit and medications

  • Bottled water (1L per person per day)

  • Non-perishable snacks

  • Flashlight and extra batteries

  • Charged power bank

  • Local map (in case GPS fails)

  • Whistle or noisemaker

Nice-to-Haves

  • Compact towel

  • Ziplock bags for electronics

  • Cash in small bills

  • Pet supplies if needed

Make sure your bag is easy to grab and stored somewhere dry and accessible—preferably near your main exit.
