Pet Go Bag Checklist:

  • Food and water for 3 days

  • Collapsible bowls

  • Leash/harness, muzzle (if needed)

  • Copy of vet records + ID tags

  • Litter, waste bags, or puppy pads

  • Favorite toy or comfort item

Shelter-in-Place Setup:

  • Quiet, secure space

  • Familiar bedding or crate

  • Comfort item

  • Calm voice and physical reassurance

Transport Tips:

  • Practice getting pets into their carriers ahead of time

  • Label your carrier with pet’s name and your contact info

  • Don’t open the carrier unless in a safe, enclosed place

Emergency Pet Contact Form:

  • Pet’s name, vet, allergies, medications

  • Emergency caregiver contact

  • Feeding schedule

Add a pet sticker to your window to alert responders that an animal may be inside.
